International Art Transport Madrid, Barcelone, Valence and Spain Tti

The Spanish company Técnica de Transportes Internacionales (Tti) has been in existence since 1986. It specializes in the international transport of works of art.

Tti operates three local branches, in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. Each Tti branch has a secure warehouse for the storage of art pieces and dedicated human and material resources.

In total, Tti has 7,000 m² of secure storage across its various warehouses.

Among the services offered by Tti are:

  • Transport of artworks throughout Spain
  • European transport of artworks in Fine Art trucks, with regular routes between Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy
  • International transport of artworks by air freight
  • International transport by sea container
  • Customs management
  • Management of national or international temporary exhibitions
  • Installation of artworks
  • Handling of heavy or complex artworks
  • Airport supervision
  • Crate and packaging production

Tti has an in-house carpentry workshop and produces crates according to the specifications of major lending museums in Spain: the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, Thyssen Museum, MNAC, MACBA, Patrimonio Nacional, Guggenheim Museum, IVAM, regional fine arts museums of Bilbao, Seville, etc., as well as the Dali, Miro, Caixa, Mapfre, and March Foundations.

Tti employs around one hundred staff, with a wide range of profiles:

  • Light, heavy, and super heavy vehicle drivers for national and international transport
  • Handlers specialized in the handling of heavy and monumental artworks
  • Specialized installers for hanging works in temporary exhibitions
  • Packers-craters specialized in art packaging
  • Logistics personnel
  • Coordinators of temporary exhibitions
  • Airport supervision teams specialized in air freight
  • Carpenters

Tti is an AEO agent, a founding member of AETOA, and a member of the international association ICEFAT.
