Packing & crating

Packaging of works of art internationally and throughout France

OUR EXPERTISE IN PACKING WORKS OF ART
Our packaging is made according to the lender's requirements, our packers' recommendations and those of the organiser, if any. It takes into account the characteristics of each work or objecto (fragility, technique, particular qualities, etc.) to ensure its preventive conservation during handling and transport.

Our qualified packers have all types of supplies to achieve compliant packaging according to the rules of the art, from simple padding to museum-quality, isothermal or sliding crates, and more besides.

SIMPLE PADDING

Careful two-layer padding: the work is covered with a first layer of Tyvek packaging. A second layer of bullpack is then added.

REINFORCED PADDING

Padding according to the 3-layer rule: Melinex, non-silicone Melinex or Tyvek in contact with the work, then bullpack packaging, and finally double corrugated cardboard sheets on the front and back. Blue foam corners can be added if necessary.

FOAM-LINED

Our specialised packers can create custom foam-lined boxes to perfectly fit the contours of a three-dimensional object. In this case, the crate is fully lined with custom-cut PU foam to perfectly match the shape of the work. The PU foam is itself lined with Tyvek which will be in direct contact with the work.
