International Art Transport for the Temporary Exhibition "Houses of Tove Jansson" in Paris

Transexpo has recently demonstrated its commitment to excellence and passion for art by successfully transporting the works featured in the temporary exhibition "Houses of Tove Jansson."

From September 29 to October 29, 2023, the Espace Daylight in Paris hosts this unique exhibition organized by The Community in collaboration with the artist's estate and Moomin Characters.

International Art Transport from Finland and Norway

Transexpo Paris had the honor of transporting over 250 works from Helsinki, Finland, and Oslo, Norway, for this groundbreaking exhibition, now the largest in Central Europe.

"Houses of Tove Jansson" celebrates the life and work of Tove Jansson, the renowned Finnish writer, artist, and creator of the beloved Moomin characters. Our dedicated team managed the complex logistics involved in bringing together Jansson's artworks and contemporary creations inspired by her legacy, from various artists and designers worldwide.

This exceptional exhibition delves into the complexities of an artist who defied established norms as a female and queer artist before and after World War II. We transported key works that marked significant milestones in Jansson's career, including a selection of paintings, drawings, illustrations, and texts, some of which are unveiled to the public for the first time.

An exhibition held during Paris Fashion Week and Paris+ by Art Basel

Espace Daylight opens its doors during Paris Fashion Week, providing an immersive artistic experience that extends through Paris+ by Art Basel. Transexpo is honored to have contributed to the logistical success of this prestigious exhibition, highlighting our commitment to the preservation and secure transport of unique artworks.
