The challenge was significant: transporting around twenty artworks, including a monumental sculpture, from Paris to the banks of the Loire, in a setting as prestigious as it is demanding. The journey began with the meticulous loading of artworks into a specially equipped and climate-controlled truck, ensuring optimal conservation conditions throughout the trip. Under the careful supervision of our experts, each piece was meticulously packed and secured to withstand the winding roads to the castle.

A complex installation

Upon arrival, our teams were greeted by the majestic Renaissance-era castle, ready to receive the transported treasures. The major challenge lay in manually carrying the bulky pieces up the castle stairs. However, thanks to our experienced team of six and the support of four professional porters, each crate was handled with utmost care, respecting both the integrity of the artworks and the historical site.

The most technical phase of this mission was the installation of a large steel contemporary sculpture, packed in five heavy and voluminous crates. Our specialists delicately unpacked the sculpture's various elements and precisely installed them, unveiling its splendor in the castle's historic halls.
